Prior to moving to Kentucky, I decided it would be a good idea to get one more relaxer. While I probably could of gone a bit longer before I had my hair relaxed, I preceded to go to the hair salon. I even used it as recently as about 2 months ago but ended up having some sort of bug the last day, which made my results inconclusive. Dupe List: MAC's Ambering Rose and Lorac's Hollywood

So I went by the MAC counter today looking for Dolly Mix. Unfortunately, they were sold out so I just lingered around to see if anything else caught my eye. I picked up several but was instantly drawn to one, Ambering Rose. It was beautiful. Almost as if NARS Taj Mahal and MAC Coopertone could have a baby, then Ambering Rose would be the offspring. It is a beautiful burnt orange/brown color with shimmer. Very flattering for darker skin tones. But once I got in the car, I started to realize the swatch on my hand looked really familiar. Then it hit me, it looked a lot like Lorac's Hollywood blush. As soon as I got home, I pulled the Lorac blush out of it's draw and swatched it. The two looked too close. Hollywood has a bit of a more brassy orange color to it than Ambering Rose, but at certain angles...........they might as well be the same. I love my Hollywood blush and while Ambering Rose is a deeper color, there was no point in keeping both. So I returned it back

Wish List Wednesday 9/6/17

It is Wednesday and my wish list has only grown. With a move on the horizon, quite a few of my upcoming wishes involve activities and places in Hawaii. Now let's kick of my wish list for the week! Staycation at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa Aulani is located in Ko'Olina, about 20 minutes from my house. Now you may ask why this is on my wish list when I already reside in "paradise" and this place is only a short drive from my home? It is simple: Aulani is a nice break from reality. The view is gorgeous and they are known for their amazing pool, which is like a mini water park. I want to experience as much of the tourist side of Hawaii as I can while on the island and staying in a nice hotel is one. The price is a bit high, hence why this is on my wish list. Another Weight Loss Journey: The Sauna Suit (Gold Gym)

So after many failed attempts at trying to get in shape, I finally got my act together 2 weeks ago. YAY! One of the things I decided to try was a sauna suit. I had seen them many times but never really felt the need to try one. After working in a sporting goods store for a bit and many trips down the exercise aisle of Walmart, I decided to go for it. I had some ideas of the purpose of the sauna suit but after some research it isn't exactly what I had hoped it would be. I had my first 30 minute workout with it on Monday and I was POURING sweat when I was done. My workout wasn't even intense, but the inside of my suit felt like someone had dumped water in it. While sweating is a good thing, it doesn't mean it will result in the ultimate slim down.
